We Must Build a Nation Our Future Generations Will be Proud of, --- Ogun IPAC Chairman, Sanyaolu



The Chairman of the inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) Ogun State, Comrade Dr. Abayomi Omolaja Sanyaolu has called on Nigerians to remain committed to peace and unity in building a nation our future generations will be proud to inherit.


Comrade Sanyaolu in a statement made available to news men in Abeokuta, the Ogun State Capital to mark the occasion of Nigeria's 66th independence day anniversary, he said independence is beyond a date in history, but a remember of the sacrifices of the past heroes and the responsibility on the present generation.


"Nigeria has traveled a long road since 1960. Yet, we remain hopeful and committed to building the Nigeria of our dreams,"


The Chairman reaffirmed the readiness of inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) Ogun State for the forthcoming general elections in the State that the leadership of IPAC in Ogun State will continue to work for a state where people live in peace, work with dignity and look to the future of the good people of Ogun State with confidence.


He called on the collective effort from all political parties, Churches, Mosque, traditional institutions, private sectors, civil society and youths to advance the state and nation, and urged prayers for wisdom for leaders, peace in communities and protection for security personnel.


Sanyaolu also warned against unbridled criticism and demonization of leaders, describing it as umbibliical, and urged that criticism should come with constructive suggestions.
