NIGERIA @66: Adebutu Preaches Peace, Unity, Justice And Mutual Respect

My dear people of Ogun State,

Today, as we celebrate Nigeria’s 66th Independence Anniversary, I extend my warmest greetings and heartfelt wishes to every citizen and resident of our dear Ogun State.

Independence Day is more than a celebration of our past; it is also a reminder of the responsibility we all share in building the Nigeria we desire and deserve. Despite the challenges confronting our nation, we must never lose faith in the greatness of Nigeria or abandon our collective responsibility to make our communities better.

Ogun State is blessed with hardworking, resilient and enterprising people. From our farmers and artisans to our professionals, business owners, students, workers and young people, the strength of Ogun lies in the determination of its people.

As we mark this important day, let us continue to promote peace, unity, justice and mutual respect. Let us put the interests of our people first and work towards a society where government is accountable, opportunities are accessible, young people can dream and thrive, and every citizen can live with dignity.

My commitment to the people of Ogun State remains unwavering. Together, we can build an Ogun State where prosperity is shared, local communities are empowered, education and healthcare receive the attention they deserve, and our people have genuine reasons to be hopeful about the future.

May God continue to bless Ogun State and the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Happy Independence Day, Ogun State!

Happy Independence Day, Nigeria!
