Excitement and praise galore as Ilupeju Obantoko Area CDC Obantoko, Odeda local government on Thursday 26th 2024 holds her 2024 Area Community Development Committee Day amidst funfair
The event held at the Morekete Primary School Obantoko, Odeda local government was attended by top government officials, community leaders, and other stakeholders committed to grassroots development.
In his welcome address, The Chairman of Ilupeju Obantoko Area Community Development Committee, Oloye Dimeji Kehinde, said we gathered here as a community development to celebrate Ilupeju Obantoko Area CDC day, celebrating the season, accounting for our stewardship and honouring deserving individuals who have contributed to the growth and development of our communities, Local Local Government and the State at large.
It is a time to reflect on our collective achievements and to encourage the possibilities that lie ahead. Hence today's ceremony and get-together not only commemorate the passing of time but also serve as a unifying force, bringing together all the stakeholders in our various communities, and community as an assemblage of committed individuals with a shared passion for community development and improving the lives of residents at the grassroots level.

He said over 40 CDAs exciting in Ilupeju Obantoko Area CDC are to touched in the course in the year and those who are performing are graded by unbiased assessors.
In her Speech, the Executive Chairman Odeda local government, Hon. Dr. Folasade Adeyemo represented by the Community Zonal Officer, Mrs Oni F. Anunoluwapo urged the people of Obantoko and Odeda local government federal n general to offer their unwavering support to the CDC and other development initiatives of the government.
"Our administration has made significant strides in transforming Odeda local government, but there is still more work to be done" the Chairman started. She called on CDCs to leverage its experience and expertise to support the government's vision and to actively participate in driving projects that would uplift the socio-economic status of residents, especially those in rural communities.
Speaking earlier, the CDC zonal Chairman, Comrade Emmanuel Igbagbodoyin Iyasere expressed appreciation to the executive chairman of Odeda local government Hon. Dr. Folasade Adeyemo and her team for their intervention and support to community development. We particularly put on record the strong performance of Hon. Dr. Folasade Adeyemo on rural project and programmes.
Also Speaking, the Ontoko of Obantoko, Oba Kayode Adesanu commended the leadership of Ilupeju Obantoko Area CDC for their fast track record to take the hole communities to the greater height.
Oba Ontoko Stressed the importance of their role in complementing the government's efforts to improve living conditions across Ilupeju Obantoko. He outlined his commitment to grassroots development and expressed confidence that the executive members of Ilupeju Obantoko Area CDC would serve as valuable partners in achieving these goals.
Meanwhile, Award of Recognitions and installations as Patrons And Matrons was presented to honoring deserving individuals who have contributed to the growth and development of Ilupeju Obantoko Area CDC, includes Hon. Dr. Folasade Adeyemo, Com. Emmanuel Igbagbodoyin Iyasere, Chief Mrs Motunrayo M. Adeoti, Com. Augustine Babatunde Ogunseye, also Oloye Dimeji Kehinde was also honored with Award of Excellent for his leadership role as the Current Ilupeju Obantoko Area CDC Chairman.
