It was a double Celebration for both Chief Mrs Mutiat Motunrayo Adeoti and Comrade Augustine Babatunde Ogunseye as the duo honored with leadership Award by the Ilupeju Obantoko Area Community Development Committee led by Oloye Dimeju Kehinde and also installed as Matron and Patron of Ilupeju Obantoko Area CDC for propelling achievement in the community development and Service to Humanity.
The community service awards were bestowed on them during the end of the year party and Area Community Development Community Day Celebration/award presentation to community leaders and installation of leaders as Patrons And Matrons, with political leaders, traditional rulers, elites in attendance.
Presenting the Award to Chief Mrs Mutiat Motunrayo Adeoti, the Zonal Chairman of Community Association, Odeda local government, Comrade Emmanuel Igbagbodoyin Iyasere commended their sterling leadership of the community, which he said imparted positively on the entire Obantoko and Irepolere Ogunji Area CDC. He extolled their leadership qualities and urged them to continue the good work and not to rest on their oars. said the two Awardees qualify in terms of requisite community data among Area Community Development Committee in Odeda local government.
Responding, the Chairperson Irepolere Ogunji Area CDC, Chief Mrs Motunrayo M. Adeoti expressed joy with the recognition coming from Area CDC that gave birth to her Area CDC, Adeoti expressed gladness for the honour bestowed on her and pleased with the local government and state government to their support development and growth of the community.
In his Speech after receiving his award, Comrade Augustine Babatunde Ogunseye said the award is a deliberate move to encourage excellence, innovation and development.
Comrade Ogunseye thanks the organizers for the award and assured them of more co-operation that he will not shy away from cooperating to develop the community.
"I know my recognition based on the good work I have done when I was the Chairman of this Area CDC but I will continue my best to move the Area CDC forward even as the former Chairman", Ogunseye started.
Earlier in his remark, the Chairman Ilupeju Obantoko Area CDC, Oloye Dimeji Kehinde said a convergence of philanthropic luminaries, honored these remarkable souls for their outstanding contributions to Humanity.
Oloye Kehinde said the event is a tribute to the indomitable spirit of compassion and dedication exhibited by these remarkable individuals. Their tireless efforts illuminate the path toward a brighter, more inclusive future for all.
