Let Us Reflect On Our Devotional Values: ABS Felicitates With Muslim Ummah on the 2022 Eid-El-Kabir Festival

Today, i find joy in my heart to rejoice with our muslim brothers and sister as we commemorate the 2022 Sallah Celebration.

Sallah is not just another festival to cook, eat, drink and party but a period to discharge love,  engage in deep reflections, atone for our iniquities, and  invest in sacrificial giving.

The Celebration and the long holidays will afford us a unique opportunity to renew old friendships, extend the arms of charity to one another, recite the holy book and deeply reflect on our devotional values as adherents of the Holy Prophet Muhammed (S.A.W).

In the same vein, i call on all Nigerians, particularly members of the Ogun Central Senatorial District to collectively use the season in examining and re-examining our national values in order to build a Nation where there will be no distinction of creed or class.

As we celebrate, it is pertinent that we use the occassion to make solemn supplications to the Almighty Allah in granting us ease amidst the socioeconomic turbulence in our dear country.

I wish all Mumeen and Mumeenat, Happy Celebration.

Barka-Da-Sallah!
