Again, Hon. Akinlabi Others Bags Ogun PCRC Merit Award.
The Chief of staff to the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) National Vice Chairman Southwest also Chairman PCRC Adatan Area Command, Hon. Taiwo Akinlabi and others has again Receiving a merit Award from the Ogun State Command of the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC). Akinlabi was a recipient of the awards in recognition of his contribution to the growth of the Police Community Relations Committee PCRC Ogun State, Southwest, Nigeria and humanity at large.
The 2021 PCRC Security Awareness Week organized by the PCRC Ogun State Command was a week event with the theme "REMOVING THE BOTTLENECKS IN CRIMINAL PROSECUTION IN OGUN STATE" with many Programs from Unit, Divisions, Area Commands and State level which was rounded up with State Seminar/Gala and Award Night held at the Olu Itori Hall, Itori, Ewekoro Local Government Areas of Ogun State.
Receiving the Award, Akinlabi who Represented by his deputy and the Chairman Adatan Division Engr. Adesanya she he was very delighted to be honoured with the Award.
In his speech at the event, the PCRC State Chairman Architect Samson Kunle Popoola JP said this theme is borne out of the fact that crimes though a universal phenomenon, has found a festering ground in our nation as a result of a very low rate of apprehension and punishment for criminals and to this can be attributed to the various bottlenecks and loophole employed by criminals to evade justice, even where justice is Served the offenders come out of our correctional systems more hardened than when they went in.
Architect Popoola implore the government to do more for the PCRC in term of logistical support and grants since we are self funded and the task is enermous and very daunting, he then pray that with God be on their side, PCRC will continue to forge ahead.
