PCRC NATIONAL CAPACITY BUILDING COMMITTEE VISITS VIGILANTE GROUP OF NIGERIA (VGN).



In the event of making the security of our great nation a common goal for every concerned security agencies, the PCRC National Capacity Building Committee visits the National Headquarters of Vigilante Group of Nigeria on Monday December 7, 2020 at Gwarinpa, Abuja. 


The PCRC Capacity Building Committee initiative was the brainchild of the highly creative National Chairman of PCRC Ambassador Farouk Maiyama. This Committee is targeted at improving on the knowledge and performance of those saddled with the responsibility of Policing the Nation. 



The laudable visit led by the National Capacity Building Committee Chairman, Alhaji Magaji Ibrahim Olaniyan who doubles up as the PCRC National Vice Chairman Southwest was warmly received by the Commandant General of the Vigilante Group of Nigeria Navy Captain Umar Bakori and his top Cabinets.



Alhaji Magaji seized the opportunity to address the gathering on the need to build and maintain a cordial relationship with the VGN so as to achieve a common goal which is a peaceful nation. In a way to encourage, Alhaji Magaji equally acknowledged and applauded the VGN for the level of laudable success recorded so far. He equally proposed the need to collaborate with VGN in the Capacity Building so as to improve on their already existing techniques. 



The Deputy Commandant General of VGN Otunba James Udoma applauded the kind gesture by the PCRC while expressing maximum disappointment in the level of marginalization recorded in the ongoing Community Police initiative considering the level of selfless sacrifice made by their men in the timepass. The Commandant General of VGN, Navy Captain Umar Bakori expressed his profound pleasure in the beautiful gesture of the PCRC leadership. He accepted to key into the initiative while stating that it is indeed a stitch in time.
