EASTER: LET THE DEATH AND RESURRECTION OF OUR LORD JESUS AFFIRM OUR HOPE OF OVERCOMING THIS COVID 19, Segun Showunmi

Ogun State PDP chieftain and Spokesman Atiku Campaign Organization, Hon. Segun Showunmi has advised Christians across the globe to  let the love lead and bind us together, in unison as we mark the celebration of the death and resurrection of our lord Jesus Christ all over the world.

It is an Important festival of which the Christian community would have been observing the usual Easter Convention to mark the celebration but are restricted by the unfortunate COVID-19 Pandemic.

May the sacrifice of The lord Jesus, that the season symbolizes renew our world!
His word “It is Finished” be thou activated to cause the release of the earth from the cankerworm know as Covid-19.

In a statement made available by Segun Showunmi said though we are restricted by this global pandemic, let us remain steadfast in our Lord Jesus Christ whose Death and Resurrection we are remembering and believe that this COVID 19 too shall pass.

With this faith, coupled with the pragmatic steps put in place by our leaders to fight the disease, we shall soon be able to smile at the end of the storm.

Again, this is the time to reflect on the past and correct the wrongs and plan for the future. Easter significantly shows the love God have for us, hence we must also show love to our brothers and sisters on this occasion.
