The Ogun State Government has again warned public and private schools against organising graduation ceremonies and end of session parties for learners.
In a circular issued by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, school administrators were directed to comply with an earlier resolution prohibiting such events across the state.
The government noted that some schools have started collecting money from parents and guardians for the purpose, stressing that any school found violating the directive will be sanctioned.
Parents and other stakeholders have been urged to take note of the directive and ensure strict compliance.
🎓🚫 The government’s stance is clear: no graduation or end-of-session parties are allowed in Ogun schools.
