The 5th Annual ASADE Royal Day Celebration was held in a colourful and memorable atmosphere, bringing together sons and daughters of the ASADE Royal Dynasty from home and abroad in a remarkable display of unity, pride, and cultural heritage.

The well-attended event attracted members of the ASADE family from Ilaro, Ijoga Orile, Ikeja, Iba, Ogba, and several other locations, as well as respected community leaders, friends, and well-wishers. The gathering once again reaffirmed the popular saying that wherever the name ASADE is mentioned, royalty is always present, as the event reflected dignity, order, and deep family bonding.

The celebration was filled with funfair and rich cultural displays. Traditional performances by Ajan gbode, Igbe, Bolojo, and Iyawole Adekanbi thrilled the audience, keeping guests entertained throughout the programme while showcasing the depth and beauty of Yoruba cultural heritage.

One of the major highlights of the event was the powerful rendition of the ASADE Royal Dynasty Anthem and the Ipokia Anthem, both sang with pride, honour, and a strong sense of belonging by family members and guests.

Spiritual upliftment formed a strong pillar of the celebration, as a Qur’an recitation was beautifully delivered by one of the princes and princesses of the royal family, offering prayers for peace, unity, progress, and continuous blessings upon the ASADE Royal Dynasty and the entire Ipokia community.

Guests were treated to a wide variety of delicious meals, with different types of foods and menu options joyously served, reflecting the family’s spirit of hospitality and generosity. The ceremony also featured the presentation of gifts and awards to invited guests and individuals who have contributed meaningfully to the unity and growth of the dynasty.

In recent times, the ASADE Royal Dynasty Annual Celebration has continued to attract admiration, as many families are now planning to imitate this noble initiative. The consistency of the ASADE Royal family in using the annual gathering to strengthen unity, preserve family history, and mentor the younger generation has set a commendable standard. Notably, cultural education is carefully upheld without affecting the Islamic faith of the family, ensuring that young princes and princesses learn their traditions, values, and lineage in a faith-conscious and respectful environment.

Speaking on the essence of the celebration, the Royal Secretary of the ASADE Royal Dynasty, Prince Adewale Mustapha Asade, said:

*“The ASADE Royal Day is more than a celebration; it is a platform for unity, documentation of our history, and grooming the younger generation to understand where they come from. We are deliberate in ensuring that our traditions are preserved in harmony with our Islamic faith, and this unity remains our greatest strength.”*

On his part, the Chairman of the Central Planning Committee, Prince Ganiu Adelani, expressed satisfaction with the success of the event, stating:

*“The overwhelming turnout and positive feedback show how deeply the ASADE Royal family values togetherness. This celebration is about bonding, culture, and continuity. We are grateful to everyone who supported the planning and execution, and we promise that the next edition will be even better, Insha’Allah.”*

The ASADE Royal family extended heartfelt appreciation to all guests, performers, and supporters who contributed to the success of the 5th edition. The family also promised significant improvements and a more impactful celebration at the 6th Annual ASADE Royal Day, Insha’Allah.

The 5th Annual ASADE Royal Day Celebration once again stood as a proud testament to the enduring legacy, royal identity, and strong unity that define the ASADE Royal Dynasty.
