OGUN LG POLL- NNPP WARN OGSIEC NOT TO TAMPER LOGO



The National Leadership of New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP) has communicated the Resolutions of the Mid Term  Convention on the  unauthorized account purported charge of logo by the Kwankwasia's group with the conivance of some unscrupulous elements in INEC.



In a letter signed by Comrade Oginni Olaposi Sunday, The National Secretary of NEW NIGERIA PEOPLE'S PARTY ( NNPP) which was made available to Newsmen at Abeokuta today, the Party made it clear that it's logo with the basket of Fruits remains tthe symbol of the party.


Oginni further emphasized that the Logo has been in use for the past 22 years and that the party has no intention of changing the logo for whatever reason.


The letter addressed to the Chairman of Ogun State Independent Electoral Commission is with the title;

NEW NIGERIA PEOPLE'S PARTY ( NNPP) LOGO AND SYMBOLS REMAINED UNCHANGED


The letter that was with attached copies of Court processes from The Federal High Court Abuja and a letter with INEC acknowledgement from Barrister Monday Mawah of Templum Chamber informed Ogun State Independent Electoral Commission  that "The Original Logo and Symbol of NNPP remained unchanged".


The letter further stated that the purported attempt by  the group of highjackers known as Kwankwasia Group with the conivance of some unscrupulous elements in INEC to change the Original Logo of Our Great Party was a ruse.


The Leadership of New Nigeria People's Party NNPP at the Convention held at The Palm Hotel, Abuja on Sunday the 21st of July,2024 unanimously rejected the purported change of the Logo of New Nigeria People's Party.


The Leadership of New Nigeria People's Party has communicated the rejection of the Change of LOGO to INEC and the copy of the acknowledged letter to INEC is hereby attached.


In the same vein, The Leadership of New Nigeria People's Party has approached the Federal High Court Abuja to challenge  the illegal Kwankwasia Group Convention that brought in the illegal change of Logo asking the Court to declare all the actions of the Kwankwasia's group a nullity. The Court Processes on this matter at the Federal High Court Abuja are hereby attached.


Consequently, we urge your commission in the respect of the rule of law and development of our democracy not to tamper with the" original logo" of NEW NIGERIA PEOPLE'S PARTY (NNPP) that has been in existence and usage for the past 22 years.
