CHRISTMAS: Ireede Grassroots Foundation Urges Nigerians To Emulate Virtues Of Christ

 

Ireede Grassroots Foundation, a Non-Governmental Organization based in Ogun State,  has urged Nigerians to always emulate moral teachings and virtues of Jesus Christ, by showing love for one another and strengthening the bond of unity among different ethnic groups, as Christians in the country join  their counter-part in the rest of the world in celebration of this year's Christmas 

Founder of the foundation, Hon. Funmilayo Ireede-Oginni who made the call in a Christmas message, also enjoined them to use the festive period marking the birth of Christ, to renew their hope in a greater Nigeria in the coming 2024.

She expressed commitment of her foundation to the continuos  support for education of the less privileged in the society from basic education to secondary education through its scholarship scheme

Ireede-Oginni who is also proprietress of Future Promise Group of Schools, Lantoro, Abeokuta, called on government at all levels to see investment in the education sector as necessity for the growth of the society

The foundation stressed the need for government to provide the enabling environment to encourage talented young Nigerians to use their natural gifts to contribute to the socio-economic growth of the country.
