Rise Up To Security Challenges In Your Area, Popoola Charges PCRC Members As He Tours Ayetoyo Area Command



The State Chairman, High Chief Ven. (Dr) Samson Kunle Popoola (JP) and some exco members has today Tuesday June 21 paid a one day visit to Ayetoro Area Command.

The visit was preceded with a Stakeholders Security Summit.

It was presided over by the Ayetoro Area Command, ACP Salawudeen Lawal, accompanied by the Chairman of Yewa North Local Government, Hon. Gabreal Ogunyomi & very top government officials, which included the S. A to Governor on inter ethnic  affairs, Hadi Sani.



The summit was attended by religious & community leaders, including Fulani leaders and Miyetti Allah.

The State Chairman set the ball rolling, sensitising inhabitants of the area of the need for peaceful co-existence among various tribes.



He said further that there is the urgent need to leave in unity & peace, irrespective of ethnic colouration.

He advised Christian, Islamic & Traditional worshippers & leaders to preach peace & attitudes that will encourage harmony among inhabitants.

The Chairman of Miyetti Allah in Ogun State, Alhaji Dende informed that the Fulanis in the area have lived in there for many years, hence they are ready more than ever before to embrace peace.

The Chairman of Yewa North Local Government, Hon. Gabreal Ogunyomi advised youths to shun thuggery and acts capable of overheating the already tensed situation.

The general consensus of the stakeholders is to live together in peace.

After the summit, a round table meeting was held with the executive members of Ayetoro area command, led by its chairman, Chief E. T. Faleti.

The state chairman thanked PCRC members for their support & sought for their active participation in the forthcoming weeklong PCRC activities, tagged SHIMAWA 2022. 

The State Chairman assured them of exciting programmes during the weeklong activities.

The exco members that accompanied the state chairman on the visit include the State Deputy Chairman, Comrade Abdullahi Lawal, the State Assistant Secretary, Comrade Sanmi Ogundele, State Vice Chairman, Chief (Mrs) Feyisara Odunlami , the State Secretary of the Youth Committee, Comrade Saheed Adenekan and the Special Adviser (Media & Publicity), Chief Babatunde Odeyemi.

The Chairman of Ayetoro area command, Chief Faleti commended the state chairman's yeomen's programmes , pledging their continued support to the state command of the PCRC.

The team has since returned to Abeokuta.
