Casualties of Terrorism ...The Abuja - Kaduna Train Attack ~ Abamiedaablog

 

Let's call a spade a spade. Those who attacked the Abuja- Kaduna Train in the evening of  Monday March 28 were not Gunmen nor bandits . They are TERRORISTS.

The operation bore all the hallmarks of high level Terrorists Attack. They came well armed , planted explosives on the rail track and detonated the bombs as the train approached to demobilise it. They then invaded the carriages in Terrorists style shot as many as they could and captured others . The number of the Dead and the captured is yet to be determined. 

One of those said to have been killed is a young Nigerian ,Doctor  Chinelo who worked at St. Gerald hospital in Kaduna . She was said to have sent out a tweet during the attack saying she had been shot by the Terrorists. She never made it out of the train alive.

The authorities should up their game . It's time to leverage on digital Technology and other security apparatus to fight the terrorists who now visit death , destruction, sorrow ,tears and blood on innocent people with reckless abandon and almost relative ease.

We need preventive security measures that stop terrorists before they strike .

The Terrorists Attack on the  Kaduna Train passengers should be a wake up call for the government and security agencies.

The Terrorists strike on the road , waterways and now rail lines . They should be stopped now before they escalate their evil deeds to another level .
