Ajibola Pens Touching Note to Princess Olanike Babawande @50
Read this story with me
Sometimes ago I met a woman who has so many burdens to bear, after moving closer I discovered that she was helping so many people to carry their heavy luggage, at first I had thought how could this be, then I realized that there are few born for the purpose of service to God and humanity, one thing is that you cannot even talked to her to stop helping people, because in doing so lies her pleasure.
In 2018 before the 2019 election, this woman and her husband came on a health mission in Ifo/ Ewekoro federal constituency, thousands of people were screened medically, eye glasses provided those with impaired eye sight, drugs administered to those with health related issues, millions of Naira was expended on the people of Ifo/ Ewekoro, what a huge investments.
I have lost counts of those who approached this same woman with sorry case and she came through for them, the most shocking is the fact that she is never a fan of people saying thank you, she tries all she could to avoid people making her a demi-god.
My Story.
Before 2018, those who knew me could testify that I have no walking aid to support my movement, you can imagine how much laborious that will be, this woman came, and brought me a collapsible walking aid which helped me a great deal, easing me of great energy I have to put into lifting myself.
If there is anyone I could reach out to when the going is rough without fear, this is the same woman, the very person who will be check on us and ask about our welfare and extend warm hands of fellowship and affection, this is the same person.
Many may not know how I got so acquainted to places in Ibadan, the city became my regular point of call due to my closeness to this woman and her family.
There are many things to read about this woman, but you will have to wait for my book to be published.
Now straight to Business
You always come through for us, you have never said no, you will be the first to call and the last person to end the call.
You don't delay to respond to people's needs, no story that touches from you, you act at the slightest available opportunity, you have a mind of your own, you discard negative stories about people, you asked after everyone you know, carrying their financial burden even beyond their comprehension, you are an addicted giver, you are a pleasant motivator, you see possibilities in all things, you identified with all in their trying and lifting seasons, no dull moments with you, you creates your own world, radiating your own joy.
There are many things to say but at last we will be ALRIGHT... You always take painstaking efforts to make people alright, you mean so much to me.
I thank God for who you are, who you have been and who you are becoming, Mama Dammy, Mama Temmy, Mama Prince Deji, the adorable, indefatigable, indomitable and indispensable wife of Prince Babawande, my Maami of Chicago.
May the good Lord bless and keep you beyond 100...
