Don't Use Saraki Case To Cover Abba Kyari's Indictment By FBI, PDP Youth Warns EFCC.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) youths have warned the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to desist from harassing the former President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki.

The PDP youths under the aegis of South South Youth Vanguard, also cautioned the anti-graft agency to beam its anti-corruption search light on the appropriate quarters and stop chasing shadows.

The group was of the opinion that the plan of the EFCC is to use Saraki case, which has already been dispensed with by competents courts, to cover the indictment against the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari, by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, United States.

Recall that Kyari has been linked with serial internet fraudster, Ramon Olorunwa Abbas, alias Hushpuppi, a development that is already in the public space.

The PDP youths, in a statement by its National Chairman, James Efe Akpofure, counsel the anti-graft agency to go after those reaping and looting the nation, whose stock-in-trades are not hidden from the public.

The Youth Vangard further stated that the public is aware of the antics of the EFCC, adding that compatriots is aware of what the anti-graft agency is doing, turning itself to an attack of the government.

The group also counsel the EFCC to work for the people and stop being used by the government in power to hunt perceived enemies.

"The earlier the EFCC knows that it was established to fight corruption in the interest of the public the better. It should stop doing the bidding of government in power. By working for the interest of the people, commity of nations will see us as toeing the right part to meet international best practices".
