RCCG Pastor Charges Christians To Have Faith in the Hope of Resurrection of The Lord Jesus Christ.

The Area Pastor in charge of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Peculiar People Parish, Pastor A. E Kajola has assured Christians all over the world that the death of Christ was for the benefit of man and assurance of hope that brought salvation to all and sundry.

The man of God made this known yesterday while speaking on a topic "Why was Jesus raised for us' from the book of Matthew Chapter 16 verse 21.

The Clergy man raised the following questions while explaining why Christ made himself a sacrificial lamp for the people; was Christ raised for us that we should not die”, “was Christ raised for us so that we would not pass through tribulations and troubles”, was Christ raised for our salvation alone”, “why was Christ raised for you and I”, was he raised that we may become believers”, “was it that we may live a better life”, Did He die so that we may not experience hindrances on the journey of life”.

Providing answers to these questions raised, Pastor Kajola said Christ was raised to fulfill the scriptures as stated in I Corinthians 15:4; to confirm His own word Matthew Chapter 17 verse 23; to demonstrate the power of God, stressing that it is the power of God that can sustain people, that there is no super man in the things of God.

Pastor Kajola while explaining why Christians must be fire branded gave an example of a General Overseer of a mission who was kidnapped by ritualist, but they could not harm him because the herbalist confirmed that the man had firepower, despite all pleas by the kidnappers to use the man for ritual, the ritualist told them to return him back to where he was capture and that's the power of God in his life rescued him.

He told members in a clear language that all powers outside God are temporary and that members rely on the power of God and not powers from an unknown or unreliable sources.

While rounding off the sermon Pastor Abiodun Kajola quoted Galatians Chapter 3 verse 13 “through the work of Christ Jesus, God has blessed the Gentiles with the same blessing he promised to Abraham, and we Christians receive the promised Holy Spirit through faith”.

In Conclusion, the Area Pastor charged men of God to always preach the undiluted word of God.
