"SERVICE TO HUMANITY" PCRC HONOURS ALHAJI FASIU ABIOLA AS GRAND PATRON.

The Chairman Nigerian Union of Mine Workers Ogun State Council, an affiliate member of Nigeria Labour Congress, Alhaji Fasiu Abiola "Wake up" as he is fondly called has add another feather to his cap as he was appointed Ground Patron Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) Adatan Area Command, Abeokuta Ogun State.

The honour was conferred on him today Thursday 22/04/2021 at the Nigerian Union of Mine Workers Secretariat Saje, Abeokuta the Ogun State Capital through the dedication and his involvement in Security under Adatan Area Command and Ogun State at large.

Receiving the award, Alhaji Fasiu Abiola described that Award and honour as motivation for further service, he dedicated the Award to all Members of the Nigerian Union of Mine Workers Ogun State Chapter, that Community Policing is everybody's business.

He used the occasion to call on members of the Union to retrace their steps and pledged to work more closely with the Security Agencies

In his remarks, the Police Community Relations Committee PCRC Chairman Adatan Area Command Hon. Taiwo Akinlabi, said reward for excellence has become a component of character moulding for Security awareness of which the chairman Of Nigerian Union of Mine Workers has incorporated in it's programme for leadership and promotion of Security development.

"We appreciate the contributions of the chairman Nigerian Union of Mine Workers, Alhaji Fasiu Abiola for what he has been doing in collaboration with the PCRC and the Police Command Ogun State", Said Akinlabi

He urged other Members of Nigerian Union of Mine Workers and general public to emulate Alhaji Fasiu Abiola in join hands to play important roles to secure our community.

Alhaji Abiola and his team have spread the gospel of unionism through ogun state with his relentless efforts, he has spread and inaugurated the four geo-political zones in ogun State Nigeria union of Mine Workers is now embedded in the Nooks and Crannies of ogun State he and his team have also spread Union listen to All quarries in ogun state, quarry workers are now liberated and their rights are being fight for by NUMW led by comrade Fasiu Abiola.
