NIGERIA @60: It is Only by Working Together that We Can Build a Great & Resilience Nation, __ ABS Charges Nigerian.

The Assistant General Secretary of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Apostle 'Biodun Sanyaolu has joined the league of eminent elder statesmen to congratulate Nigerians as the nation commemorates its 60th Independence Anniversary on 1st October, 2020. 

He enjoined them to work together to build a great and resilient nation while putting extra efforts to perform their civic rights and responsibilities. He went further to admonish them that the Nation's multiethnicity should not be seen as a weakness but as a collective strength.

In a congratulatory message signed and released from his media office in Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital, ABS charges Nigerians to rejoice for being part of this year's Independence Anniversary. He beckoned on them to rejoice in the fact that they are alive to witness this historic day noting that freedom is never gotten _a la carte_ 

"Nigerians henceforth should think of what can be done for the nation to make it a place of wealth, peace and happiness. A nation only succeeds as much as the citizens want it to be". 

He concluded that as the  nation celebrate its 60th  Independence Anniversary, we should remember the sacrifices of our past Heroes who laid down their lives in the battle for the freedom that we are enjoying today. He advised Nigerians to desist from anything that will drag the name of the country into the mud and continue to work assiduously to put the Nigeria's name on World Map.
