NIGERIA @60: HON. TAIWO AKINLABI CHARGES NIGERIANS TO HAVE SENSE OF BELONGING WHEREVER WE FOUND OUR SELF



The chairman of the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) Adatan Royal Area Command, Hon. Taiwo Akinlabi has charged every citizens of the country to have a sense of belonging wherever they found themselves. Let all our politicians rise to the great task of building social trust between the people and the nation, by so doing this, we can have peace and stability in pur country.


In a statement signed by the PCRC Adatan Royal Area Command Media Assistant, Lamidi Obayomi said on this day in 1960, Africa's largest and most populous country gained independence from the United Kingdom. The momentous occasion is celebrated each year across all Nigeria's 36 states, and today in this Doodle.


Akinlabi said we should all remember the sacrifices made to make our country better and remember all the battle fought and won to earn our liberation. It is time to be happy and felicitate with one another because millions laid down their lives for the liberation of our country. Thousands gave up the ghost to enable us live the life we enjoy now.


As we celebrate this year of independence, let us remember to make a promise that we will always celebrate all the sacrifices and labours of our heroes past. Akinlabi said
