Yoruba Youth Mourns Buruji Kashamu, Frowns At Chief Obasanjo's Condolence Letter.

The apex Yoruba Youth group: Yoruba Council of Youths Worldwide (YCYW) commiserate with the family, friends, associates of Late Senator Buruji Kashamu who succumbed to the cold hands of death after hard fought battle with the novel Covid 19 disease complications.

According to the National President of the global youth body, Aare Barr. Oladotun Hassan he said "The Council received with shock the news of the death of Senator Buruji Kashamu, while commiserating with his immediate and extended families, friends and associates, we pray to God to grant them fortitude to bear the great loss and equally grant the departed soul eternal rest".

Senator Buruji Kashamu through his Omo Ilu Foundation contributed immensely to the service of humanity and assisted lots of downtrodden in Ogun State and Nigeria at large.

However, in as much as only God has the authority to judge every man according to his own deeds on earth, we frown at the statement credited to Chief Olusegun Obasanjo via a condolence letter written to the Ogun State Government dated 8th August, 2020, this is highly unelderly, a show of unforgiven spirit and unkind to the dead man.

In as much as his conviction was yet to be pronounced by a court of competent, he should not be convicted in death  via " The Letter".

While using this medium to alert the general public on the prevalence of the dreaded  Covid 19 pandemic, while advising them to keep safe, use of face mask and nose cover, avoiding crowded areas, maintaining adequate social distancing and ensuring regular hand washing with soap and use of alcohol base hand sanitizer.
