ABS Charges Muslims to Promote Peace, Kindness, Love and Mutual Respect to Others as Ramadan Commences.

The Assistant General Secretary of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Apostle Biodun Sanyaolu has charged Muslim Faithfuls in Ogun State, Nigeria and across the globe to always promote peace, kindness, love and mutual respect as these are the important virtues of Ramadan.

In a statement made available through his media aide, Apostle Biodun Sanyaolu described the Holy Month of Ramadan as an opportunity to renew and strengthen one's faith through rigorous fasting, devout  prayers, reflective  meditation, reading of the Holy Al-Quran, and unrelenting charitable deeds.

He said it is only through these virtues that one can
align himself with the universal values of the Islamic faith. He further enjoined all Muslim Faithfuls to use the period to pray vigorously against the ravaging COVID -19 Pandemic noting that it is only through the powers of prayer that one can overcome every challenges.

He further enjoined them to adhere strictly to Government's laid down rules and directives in containing the spread of the Virus as this particular time will give them the avenue to have divine re-assurance in their faith.

It is our prayer that the  Almighty Allah (SWT) will  accept our good deeds, take them as _Ibadah_ , forgive our transgressions and cleanse the world from all infirmities.
