Let's Join Hands to Rebuild Sawonjo Land, Bankole Urges.
Mr Bankole said this in his keynote address that he and his co- committees can not do it alone, he then urged everybody to come on board whether Sawonjo is your maternal or paternal town, everybody should come together to raise it up that everything will be transparent.
He urged Sawonjo chiefs and elders to help disabused some youths mind for their usual language that what did they gain from the Aradokun day celebrations that the language will not give us any achievement.
I have made some steps and efforts to reach out to some people that have all what it take to assist us, anybody can come with his or her suggestion too, said Bankole
In his keynote address, Mr Ayinla Obayomi promised that this coming Arodokun day celebration will be fantastics with the many activities put in place by the planning committees, he then urged others to join hands with the committee members to rebuild Sawonjo as stated by the chairman Mr Akeem Bankole.
In their own contributions, Mr Muibi Mulero, Elder Bamgnose and Mr Dayo Okunade suggests to spread the next meeting to everybody and the clubs both home and abroad by make a written letter even radio announcement too will help. They also urged the chiefs and elders to advice their children's to come home regularly so that they too will know what is going on in their fathers land because what is bringing us back is that some parents don't allow their children's to come home.
The secretary of the planning committee, Mr Jelili Adana also suggests that we can not put everything on the committee members alone that we should try and have subcommittee to be in charge of Education, Sport and Health to make event colorful.
Meanwhile, at the meeting the duo of Mrs Modupe Dosunmu, Mrs Akimat Olugbemi were unanimously nominated to be part of 2020 Aradokun day planning committee and ask to make sure they attend the next meeting slated for December 26 2019 (Boxing day) for their inauguration, also Mr Abiodun Fayomi and Mr Lamidi Obayomi was nominated to be part of the planning committee.
To round up the meeting, the chairman planning committee, Mr Akeem Bankole said he was moved hearing beautiful suggestions on how to move Sawonjo to the higher level as well as the numbers of medical doctors nurses Sawonjo has produced and they were all need for all health experts of Sawonjo origin to make provision fro free health care services in the next celebration.
He said what he learnt and heard at the meeting HSS really changed his perception that Sawonjo doesn't have educated and reliable persons, we have them and this is the time to look for them anywhere they leave and bring them closer to their town.
The next meeting will hold on the 26th of November 2019 (Boxing Day).
