Showunmi Meets Egba Hunters, Non-Indigene Association of Ogun State, Advocates For President Tinubu's Re-election.
As political campaigns going on across the country, the Convener of the Alternative Movement, Otunba Segun Showunmi has called on Non-Indigene Association of Ogun State to vote massively for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term and support other candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 general elections.
Otunba Showunmi said this in Abeokuta on Saturday 3rd October 2027 at the declaration of Non-Indigene Association of Ogun State that Tinubu administration deserved a second term to consolidate the ongoing people-oriented projects had embarked upon. That the President was working day and night to bring succour to Nigerians and fix the country.
According to him, the reforms being undertaken by the Tinubu's administration should be viewed as processes designed to produce enduring solutions rather than temporary measures.
Cross Section of the Egba Hunters"The Renewed Hope administration needs continuity to consolidate the reforms and projects already underway.
"Things are being done in phases, but the president is building systems and institutions that will endure. For that reason, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu deserve commendation for his courage and commitment."
Non-Indigene Association of OgunIn his Welcome Address, Hon. Francis Nwanzei thanked Otunba Showunmi for his kindness and show of love for Non-Indigene for what he described as his exemplary leadership.
He said the group would intensify all Non-Indigene Sensitisation to mobilise support for Tinubu and the APC ahead of the 2027 elections. The meeting was attended by various tribes such as Igbo, Igede, Calabar, Edo, Igala, and Arewa Peoples.
Earlier, Otunba Showunmi has visited the Egba Hunters Associations where he urged them to mobilise all their local equipment to rally round president Tinubu's Re-election bid in 2027, saying the President performance so far should earned him another second term.
He called on the Hunters to move from door to door to vote massively for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, highlighted achievements which he described as significant investment by the Tinubu's administration in infrastructure and economic development, including the ongoing Lagos-Calabar Coaster Road,
He pleaded with the good people of Egbaland to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and other APC candidates across the senatorial district in the 2027 elections.
While responding, the Araba-Ode of Egbaland, Chief Yusuf Alao promised their readiness to support and mobilised thousands of their nembers vow to deliver for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
