The Chairman of the Allied People's Movement APM Ogun State, Comrade Sanyaolu Abayomi (CSA) has said that hunger and economic hardship confronting Nigerians require urgent attention, responsible leadership and practical solutions—not political blame.

Comrade Sanyaolu, Reacting to the statement by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the Kaduna campaign, suggesting that the opposition is responsible for the hunger in the country, Com. Dr. Sanyaolu Abayomi (CSA) maintains that the welfare of Nigerians must remain the foremost responsibility of governance.

“In a democracy, the opposition has a constitutional responsibility to question government policies and offer alternative solutions. However, the government in power must demonstrate leadership by addressing the challenges confronting its citizens.”

For millions of Nigerians struggling with rising food prices, transportation costs, unemployment and declining purchasing power, the priority is not who to blame but how to make life better.

Nigeria needs policies that promote food security, support farmers and small businesses, create jobs, strengthen local production and restore the purchasing power of ordinary citizens.
