IPAC OGUN STATE: A NEW CHAPTER OF UNITY, INCLUSION AND RESPONSIBLE POLITICAL LEADERSHIP

Under the purposeful and strategic leadership of the Chairman of the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Ogun State, Comrade Dr. Sanyaolu Abayomi, IPAC Ogun State today held a strategic meeting aimed at strengthening unity, deepening inter-party cooperation, and charting a responsible political direction for the state ahead of the 2027 General Elections.

The meeting also provided an opportunity to warmly welcome five newly admitted political parties into the IPAC family. Their arrival further strengthens the Council as an inclusive umbrella where every registered political party has a voice and where the collective interest of Ogun State remains paramount.

IPAC Ogun State, under the leadership of Comrade Dr. Sanyaolu Abayomi, remains committed to peaceful engagement, credible democracy, political inclusiveness, and the protection of Ogun State's democratic heritage. Political differences must never become a reason to undermine the peace, unity, and development of our dear state.

As we approach 2027, IPAC Ogun State wishes to make its position abundantly clear: all senatorial districts and all parts of Ogun State are open to credible political aspirations. No senatorial district should be treated as permanently entitled to, or permanently excluded from, any political office.

What should determine who earns the confidence of the people must be competence, character, capacity, credibility, inclusiveness, proven commitment, and genuine connection to Ogun State as a son or daughter of the soil.

The aspiration of any individual or group is legitimate, provided it is pursued within the democratic process. However, Ogun State must never become a political bargaining chip, nor should its collective destiny be reduced to the personal interest of any individual, party, group, or external interest.

IPAC therefore supports inclusion, not imposition; competence, not entitlement; cooperation, not domination; democracy, not political ownership.

Every senatorial district deserves a fair opportunity, and every credible son or daughter of Ogun State who possesses the requisite competence, character and capacity should be given the opportunity to offer themselves for service. Ultimately, the people must have the freedom to decide through a credible, peaceful and transparent democratic process.

As the political ship of Ogun State continues to sail towards 2027, IPAC under the leadership of Comrade Dr. Sanyaolu Abayomi remains determined to ensure that the ship stays firmly in the hands of the people of Ogun State and is steered towards peace, progress, justice, development and good governance.

Wherever political interests may have temporarily steered the state, the time has come to return the political process to its rightful course and to the collective hands of the people. Ogun State must not be sold, compromised, inherited or handed over as anyone's political property.

IPAC Ogun State once again welcomes the five newly admitted political parties and calls on all political parties, leaders and stakeholders to embrace unity, discipline, mutual respect, tolerance and constructive engagement as we collectively prepare for 2027.

OGUN STATE BELONGS TO ALL OF US.

ALL SENATORIAL DISTRICTS ARE OPEN.

CREDIBILITY, COMPETENCE AND CHARACTER MUST COME FIRST.

OUR SONS AND DAUGHTERS OF THE SOIL DESERVE A FAIR OPPORTUNITY.

OGUN STATE IS NOT FOR SALE.

OGUN STATE DESERVES THE BEST.

OGUN'S DESTINY MUST REMAIN WITH THE PEOPLE.

Long live IPAC Ogun State!

Long live democracy!

Long live Ogun State!

Signed:

Hon. Adeyemi S. O. (ASO)

Publicity Secretary, IPAC Ogun State
