Otunba Jimi Lawal Break Silent Over His Affirmation as Ogun ADC Authentic Candidate by the Federal High Court

NO VICTOR, NO VANQUISHED!

Alhamdulillah! Alhamdulillah! Alhamdulillah! It is with a heartful of gratitude to the Almighty Allah that I received today's judgment at the Federal High Court, Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital, declaring me as the authentic governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for the 2027 general election.

While we celebrate the hard won victory and the triumph of the constitution and rule of law over the rule of might, we must realise that what we have had was a disagreement amongst members of the same political family. I am happy that instead of resorting to violence and self-help, we took refuge in the law, and the course of justice has been duly served. 

My message to my younger brother, Dr. Biodun Collins Ogundipe (BCO) and all party leaders, stakeholders and supporters is that now that all the pre-election issues have been resolved, it is time to work and walk together in unity to rescue our dear state and make it great again.

Let us embrace one another in love and put behind all the misgivings and divisions of the past few weeks and months. We need one another to succeed. Let us go to town as one united family that is committed to rescuing our people from poverty and hopelessness; and make a clean break with the past. We are one big ADC family. No victor, no vanquished!
