“If the children or scouts are taken on an outdoor activity to see something novel in Benin, I don’t think there is anything wrong. Even as old as I am, when we started seeing flyovers in Abeokuta when Amosun was governor, even people as old as I am, were excited. It was a lot of excitement even for adults and children to see flyovers. 

“The other thing is about the utility value of flyover. Ramat Park in Benin city is all about bottleneck. There must be a purpose for showing the children the new development in the city. In terms of utility value, it is a major achievement; it is a significant achievement”, ex-Spokesperson to former President Goodluck Jonathan, Dr. Reuben Abati.
