Babajide Receives APM Certificate of Return, Promised Better Life For Ogun People

TPL Rotimi Matthew Babajide has received the Allied People's Movement (APM) certificate of return as the Party's Gubernatorial Candidate for the Ogun State 2027 governorship election.

The presentation took Place today 8th June 2026 at the State Party Secretariat, along Ijeja Abeokuta, where the state Chairman, Comrade Dr. Abayomi Omolaja Sanyaolu handed over the certificate to Babajide in the presence of some party leaders and supporters.

Presenting the certificate, Comrade Sanyaolu said Babajide's nomination reflected the mandate of thousands of party members across Ogun State.

He added that Babajide's emergence as the party's flag bearer demonstrated overwhelming support within the APM and expressed confidence in Victory at the 2027 governorship poll.

In his acceptance speech, TPL Rotimi Matthew Babajide thanked the party leadership and members for the confidence reposed in him, saying that he accepted the nomination with humility and renewed commitment.

He said his administration would pursue economic expansion, industrialisation, food security and democratic consolidation if elected.
