Ilipeju Obantoko Area CDC Women's Representative Celebrates 3rd Year Anniversary With Two Shows.


The women's group named Iyaniwura ilupeju Obantoko Area Community Development Council in Odeda Local Government Areas of Ogun State on Friday 15th May 2026 celebrated their 3rd Anniversary in grand style with appointment of PATRONS and MATRONS and One Million Empowerment for over one thousand (1000) Women under the Area CDC with the theme: (EMPOWERING WOMEN, ENRICHING LIVES: BUILDING A STRONGER COMMUNITY TOGETHER).


The event, characterized as a luxurious get-together, showcased the unity dedication, and elegance of the group's members and executives.



Key highlights of the 3rd-anniversary celebration included: Stunning Presentation: Members arrived in exquisite attire, with the celebration highlighting their tight-knit sisterhood and shared dedication. This celebration marked a significant milestone for the group as they continue to promote friendship and influence among its members across ilupeju Obantoko Area CDC.


The lunching and presentation of Record and Savings of Members Passbook of one million grants for women tagged OKO-OWO OLOYE sponsored by the Chairman Ilupeju Obantoko Area CDC, Oloye Kehinde Dimeji (OKD) and also the installation of Patrons and Matrons to the selected dignitaries for their support and contributions to the success of the Ilupeju Obantoko Area Community Development Council are invaluable and worthy of emulation.



Earlier, in her Welcome Address, the President of the group, Mrs Fatoki Motunrayo called on everyone to join hands together with the leaders to protect their integrity and believe that 'the best of us should lead the rest of us."


She then urged the members to exercise caution before aligning with any business. She expressed her delights in so many notable achievements recorded by group in various areas of human endeavours in the last three years.



Also speaking, the Chairman Ilupeju Obantoko Area Community Development Council, Hon. Oloye Kehinde Dimeji stated that the theme for this year's celebration "integrating apprenticeship training into empowering our women into small business: Opportunities and Challenges" would address all issues surrounding unemployment and skill work.


In his shot Address, the Zonal Chairman Community Development Council, Comrade Iyasere Igbagboyemi called on the group to promote inclusiveness dialogue, and mutual respect for each other, nothing that no individuals can succeed alone.



Igbagboyemi then appealed to them to unite behind the leadership and recommit themselves to the ideals and values of the group. He also remind them to go into politics bcs they all has a duty to offer in their various community.
