OGUN NNPP DENIES MEMBERS DEFECTION TO ADC
The National Leadership of New Nigeria People's Party NNPP in a statement signed by its National Secretary Comrade Oginni Olaposi Sunday and made available to newsmen in Abeokuta made it clear that those defecting or merging with ADC are not members of the original and genuine NNPP.
According to Oginni " the members of Kwankwaso's political movement who have been long expelled from the party cannot claimed to be members of New Nigeria People's Party. For instance, Barrister Femi Aina is a Kwankwasia' s Chairman and therefore he has no locus to talk on behalf of the party called NNPP in Ogun State. Barrister Femi Aina's announcement of his movement and Kwankwasias members to ADC Is a face saving from the imminent disgrace of expulsion.
Barrister Femi Aina as a lawyer recognized the fact that he was a meddlesome interloper in Ogun State NNPP's affair.
The Authentic NNPP Chairman in Ogun State is Chief Gabriel Somoye and the State Secretary is Hon. Senami Temitope Agboyinu."
The statement consequently call on the general public to disregard the fake news of New Nigeria People's Party members defection to ADC as a crying of a drowning man by the Kwankwasia's Movement.
" We are assuring all good people and lovers of democracy in Ogun State in Particular and Nigeria in general that NNPP as a registered political party is committed to make sure that the dream of a New Nigeria becomes a reality in an earliest possible time.
