On the Need for Transparency in PVC Distribution Ahead of the 2027 General Elections

Nigerians, our democracy depends on the power of our vote. As the country prepares for the 2027 Nigerian General Election, every registered voter must be able to collect their Permanent Voter Card (PVC) without obstruction or discrimination.

There are growing public concerns about possible irregularities that could affect the distribution of PVCs by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Civil society groups are calling for full transparency and fairness in the process to ensure that no eligible voter is denied their right to participate in the elections.

Your PVC is your voice. Do not allow anyone or any system failure to silence it.

If you registered to vote:

✔ Go and check the status of your PVC.

✔ Visit the designated collection center once distribution begins.

✔ Report any irregularity or refusal to release your card.

✔ Document and share verified information responsibly.

All political parties, including the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and opposition parties, must commit to protecting the democratic rights of every Nigerian voter.

Let us remain vigilant, peaceful, and committed to a free and fair election.

No PVC, No Democracy.

No Citizen Should Be Disenfranchised.
