OGUN 2027: MUSLIM DESERVES OGUN STATE GOVERNORSHIP IN 2027: -Clerics appeal to Tinubu, Abiodun and APC Leaders..

Islamic scholars that attended this year's Ramadan Lecture organized by the COALITION OF REGISTERED POLITICAL PARTY MEMBERS CORPAM FOR TINUBU 2027 at Iwe Irohin House, Oke Ilewo Abeokuta,unanimously call for the emergence of a Muslim Governor in 2027.

The Convener of EMILOKAN 2027 and National Coordinator of Coalition of Registered Political Party Members CORPAM for Tinubu 27, Comrade Oginni Olaposi Sunday in his opening and welcome address call for religious tolerance and prayers for peaceful and successful 2027 General Elections. Comrade Oginni, also call for special prayer for Global Peace and God's intervention on the war between the Iran and Israel/ USA allieds.

In a Lecture titled " MUSULUMI LOKAN 2027".. ..Different Islamic scholars who spoke at the event call the attention of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Dapo Abiodun to the marginalization of Muslims in the committee of Ogun State Governance and they subsequently call for a redress by making sure that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Gov.Dapo Abiodun are sincerely in support of the emergence of a Muslim as the Candidate of APC for the GOVERNORSHIP of Ogun State in 2027.

It is very saddened to note that in 50 Years of Ogun State, apart from Military Administrators, ONLY Senator Ibikunle Amosun was privileged as Muslim to become the Governor in the Gate Way State.

It is on record that in the first Democratic experience, A Christian in person of our Patriarch, Chief Bisi Onabanjo became the first Executive Governor while in the second Republic, Chief Segun Osoba another notable Christian became the Governor,  Otunba Gbenga Daniel who successfully succeeded Chief Osoba was also a great Christian, an organist and son of a great Prophet of God.

Senator Ibikunle Amosun who succeeded Otunba Gbenga Daniel was the only lucky Muslim who became the Governor up to date.

Recognizing the fact that Governor Dapo Abiodun who took over from Senator Ibikunle Amosun is a good Christian, therefore the legitimate demand of Ogun State Muslims to produce the Next Governor after Gov. Dapo Abiodun is logical and sensible.

According to one of the clerics that spoke at the event,. "It is unfair and unjust to deprive Ogun Muslims of the seat of Government at Oke-Mosan in 2027."

Ogun State Muslim Community have capable and experienced Muslim politicians from Ogun West and Ogun Central in the  likes of Hon. Gboyega Naisir Isiaka( GNI), Hon. Abiodun Akinlade,, Engr. Noimot Salako Oyedele and Ambassador Sarafa Tunji Ishola with Hon. Jelili Kayode Amusan. Any of these aspirants is very capable and experienced for the governorship seat. Therefore, it will  be unfair  to consider another Christian as Governor of Ogun State after Prince Dapo Abiodun's tenure.

Sentiments aside, Muslims more than ever before deserve to be the next Governor of Ogun State come 2027. 

We can find the capacity, competence, and capability of former Governor  Ibikunle Amosun in the likes of Ambassador Sarafa Tunji Ishola ( Baba Adinni of Ogun State), Hon. Abiodun Akinlade ( Baba Adinni of Owode Yewa), Hon. Jelili Kayode Amusan, Her Excellency, Alhaja Naimot Salako Oyedele (Deputy Governor) and the three times Gubernatorial Candidate of PPN, PDP and ADC,Hon.Prince Gboyega Nasir Isiaka(GNI)- The Seriki Adinni of Yewa Land.
