2027; KEESI WARD 4 ENDORSES AFUAPE FOR SECOND TERM.



Amid a crowd that unprecedented in Ward four Abeokuta South political history, leaders of All Progressives Congress APC, political leaders and stakeholders as well as non-partisan groups, on Sunday 25th January 2027 endorsed the lawmaker representing Abeokuta South Federal Constituency at the Green Chamber, Hon. Morof Afolabi Afuape for Second term in Office.



The endorsement took place at the Keesi, Ward Four (4) Abeokuta South local government during Hon. Afuape's Ward to Ward tour and interactive with the stakeholders and members of the APC across the fifteen Ward of Abeokuta South Federal Constituency on Sunday.


The Special Adviser to Ogun State Governor on Health, Dr Kehinde Ololade, Ward Four Chairman, Comrade Ibrahim Olowu and other notable leaders from across Abeokuta South Federal Constituency had taken turns to praise Hon. Afuape and went ahead to endorse him for re-election come 2027.



The palatial Emmanuel Anglican Primary School, Keesi, the venue of the programme, was filled to the brim, as politicians, stakeholders, Artisans and non-partisan groups, stormed the arena to participate in the endorsement.



The presence of Hon. Afuape at his Ward after the regeneration exercise took place in his polling booth sent a strong message of leadership by example, reaffirming his belief the effective political participation must begin from the grassroots. He fre described the e-registration initiative as a forward-looking move aimed at strengthening internal party structures, improving data accuracy and deepening internal democracy within the APC.


In his shot speech while addressing stakeholders, party officials who turned out for the exercise, the Special Adviser to Ogun State governor on Health Dr Kehinde Ololade encouraged all eligible party faithful to take advantage of the opportunity to register and update their membership status. He emphasized that proper documentation are critical for building a united, credible and formidable party capable of sustaining good governance and electoral success.


"Grassroots politics allows citizens to participate directly in local elections, engage with their representatives, and influence decisions that affect their community". This turns democracy into more than just a periodic exercise of voting in any elections; rather, a participatory process, Dr. Ololade said.
