Ogun Political Stalwarts Shower Encomium on Feliza Hotel Owner

The landscape of the hospitality business in Ogun State has wearing a new look with the entrance of a multi-billion naira Feliza Hotel & Suites and event centre, Obada Oko, Abeokuta Ogun State.

The 250-bed, on 3 floors is a renowned global hotel brand, a conglomerate with investments in various sectors of Nigeria's economy and beyond, has various modern facilities like an exclusive crew lounge, VIP lounges, 2000 capacity event centre, 1000 capacity car park, well-equipped gym, continental restaurants, among others.

Speaking before the commissioning, the CEO  of the Feliza Hotel & Suites and event centre, Mr Olufemi Ayeyemi said his desire to offer premium hospitality services to the international standard to provide opportunity to further improve the economy in the State. He said the project reflects his vision to place Ogun State on the global map of development and investment.

He applauded the traditional ruler of Obada Oko, Oba Olufemi Abiodun and his team for bankrolling the multi-billion naira investment, Adding that his vision of a premium hospitality business in Ogun has manifested through the new hotel.

Ayeyemi further noted that "The building of this hotel and event centre took us seven years. We took our time to tastefully select all the materials and equipment that were used in order to serve our clients the best. That he has traveled all over that world and experienced first-hand hospitality at its peak, we decided to build this hotel and event centre in Ogun State to promote the hospitality and tourism industry in Obada Oko, Abeokuta and provide opportunity to further improve the economy.

In his Speech, the Chairman of the occasion and the Convener of the Alternative Movement, Otunba Segun Showunmi appreciated Mr Olufemi Ayeyemi for initiating such a development project, which he said would help harness the state's economy potential, and create job opportunities for the teeming unemployed population.

Saying mr Ayeyemi's boldness to set up an edifice hotel & Suites and event centre is a role model for the younger generations. Then called on the government of Ogun State led by Prince Dapo Abiodun CON for the immediate intervention of the poor road in the area.

While Speaking, the Senior Special Adviser to Ogun State Governor on Health, Dr. Kehinde Ololade appreciates individual like this who has made a point of duty to invest illustrating industry and one thing is very obvious in other for any commercial enterprise to thrive human being have to been seeing in that environment and human being to be able to leave in that environment from their first visit to the subsequent visit, they must have an ambient they would be able to recite, sleep, wake up, do business, play and at the same time interact develop the environment and travel back. 

He said Feliza Hotel gives an opportunity to that and the beautiful things is that the visionar of the project stays in Canada and has find it important for our people those that in Canadian and other internationals that want to come and invest in Ogun State to have a place to recite and much more give opportunity for those that will be working here in a tourism industry for those will be visiting a taste of what it's look like on international space and it's a laudable project and is a massive project and is encouraged.

Other speakers, including international friends, community leaders, applauded the initiative, and assured of their maximum cooperation for others to invest in their community for mutual benefit and sustainable growth.

Upon commissioning, the edifice was immediately put to use, as local and international gusts, captains of industries, and other stakeholders, converged for the maiden event.
