2026 WAFCON: Ogun Sports Commissioner Drums Support For Super Falcons.

The Ogun State Commissioner for Sports Development, Hon. Wasiu Isiaka has urged football fans in the State to storm the MKO Abiola Sports Arena, Abeokuta tomorrow, Tuesday, 28th Oct. as the Super Falcons host Benin Republic.

The match is the final qualifying fixture for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).

The African champions had secured a 2-0 victory over their counterparts from Benin Republic on Friday, in the first leg held in Lomé, Togo.

In a statement made available to newsmen, the Commissioner said the support is necessary to encourage the team as they strive for victory, while promising an exciting display of football.

The match is expected to kick-off at 4PM.
