CP Uduak Otu Ita Assumes Office as Deputy Commandant, Police College Orji-River, Enugu; Calls for Cooperation

The newly decorated Commissioner of Police, CP Uduak Otu Ita, PSC+, has officially assumed office as the Deputy Commandant of Police College, Orji-River, Enugu State.

Prior to this appointment, CP Uduak served as the *Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Finance and Administration, Zone 7 Headquarters, Abuja.* A highly experienced officer, she has undertaken numerous professional development courses within and outside Nigeria, and has also held leadership roles during international assignments.

In her maiden address, CP Uduak applauded the achievements of the College Commandant, describing the new role as a “big shoe to fill,” but expressed confidence that with the support of the management team, stakeholders, and the press, the College would continue to excel.

“I accept this responsibility as a challenge and a call to service. I am determined to live up to expectations. All I ask is the support of everyone, because security is not the sole responsibility of the Police, but a collective effort.” She Stated

She further urged principal officers to strengthen the existing spirit of cooperation in order to move the College to greater heights.
