REMO BY-ELECTION: OGUN IPAC CALLS ON AGGRIEVED POLITICAL PARTIES TO ACCEPT RESULTS OR .........
ABEOKUTA: After the Remo by-election, the members of the opposition parties in Ogun State has urged to accept the outcome moreover to join hands with the winner of just concluded Remo by-election and to remain calm and allow peace to rein that Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has already announced the winner.
The Chairman of the inter-party Advisory Council (IPAC), Ogun State Chapter, Comrade Abayomi Sanyaolu made the appealed today at a press conference "thanked" OGUN STATE BELONGS TO ALL.
He said we don't pray for any candidate to give a slum or die when other candidate won election. Meanwhile, Candidate or Political Party who is not in one way or the other accept the outcome should approach the court for normal process.
"We are in position to renew with major political parties to make sure their is no bloodshed, no fight that we can not take law into our hands, I just want want peace as far as Gateway State is concerned", Said Sanyaolu.
In his own, a member of IPAC, and also NNPP National Secretary, Comrade Olaposi Sunday Oginni brag that the Governor Abiodun's Multi-Billion Cargo Airport Project gave him and APC victory that in a contest, their must be a winner and even in football game so and we always pray we tell our people that politics is a game although is a game of number and one of the reason why the election favour APC is that the Governor came from that constituency that their is nobody in Remo will say that the Governor has not done for them and the by-election is even an opportunity to make statement for them.
"Being an opposition leader I won't say and I won't think may be there was any form of malpractices because that kind of Multi-Billion Naira Cargo Airport Project for Remo is what swing the favour of the candidate of APC where the governor himself came from". Said Oginni
The National Publicity of Labour Party, Comrade Abayomi Arabambi, in his own part said the reason why this body of IPAC was created is to know where there is problem and for what has happened in the just concluded by-election like Kano, Anambra and other States, those governors also used their power to make sure their Candidate win the by-election but we are trying to check balance the umpire of political parties with INEC. So what happened in Ogun State and some other States gives a normal routine and challenge INEC to build up what they are doing that people are happy and retrace themselves and correct everything.
The result of last Saturday by-election in Ogun State shows the governor is the leader and someone who motivates, guild and inspires others towards winin of any elections. Anyone who is still doubting the outcome of the result should go to court that no one should course any trouble or engage in any act that can breach peace. All what we want is peace in our dear Gateway State, Arabambi said.
