GROUP ADVOCATE COLLECTION OF PVC VOTERS AWARENESS IN OGUN.
Ahead of the 2027 Elections, the socio political group the Alternative movement has intensified grassroots mobilisation across Ogun State urging residents to collect their Permanent Voters Card PVC to participate in electoral process.
This movement has backed on the outreach to Atan, Ado-Odo Ota Local Government Areas of Ogun State after a recent alarm raised by the independent electoral commission INEC that more than one million PVC remain uncollected.
While speaking with journalist, the Southwest chairman of the Movement, Olusola Salau stated the important of citizens participation in the coming election, nothing that it's important to ensure that people collect their PVC and participate in the electoral process.
According to him, Salau said a voting community different from politician, we are going everywhere to reason with community that will be effective during voting because we have all seen that we have over two hundred million worth of population, we have over one million voter's card, we even have some voter's card with INEC that INEC is complaining that people are not collecting them.
"We can not be complaining about bad government, we can not be complaining about bad Reps or bad Senators, but when we are involve in the process, the process is holiday time. Take your family out to vote to decide the leader you want to lead you in your various communities, Said Salau..
The movement also on a road show as the Alternative train stops at IFO EWEKORO FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY for good governance initiatives.
