Idowu Rotimi Seek Re-election As Ogun RATTAWU Set to Elect New Officers
The Radio, Television and Theatre Arts Workers Union of Nigeria (RATTAWU), Ogun State chapter, will on Monday June 2nd 2025 elect new officers to pilot its affairs for the next three years, where members will gather to vote for new leaders of the union.
Meanwhile, Comrade Idowu Rotimi popularly known as (IRAQ), the widely supported current chairman, has announced his intention to seek for a second term in office as he highlighted his significant contributions to the RATTAWU union members in Ogun State, which include focusing on welfare packages, organizing training and seminars, and providing social hospitality for members. Additionally, he has prioritized maintaining accountability throughout his tenure.
Comrade Idowu also mentioned that the union secretariat has undergone an impressive facelift, with efforts made to promote the union's image across the state. In his appeal to the members, he urged them to vote for him in large numbers, believing that with a strong foundation already laid, one good term deserves another to continue the developmental strategies he has implemented.
