The Continuous Process of Empowerment in Ogun East Senatorial District in a bid to foster economic independence and enhance vocational skills, His Exc.The Senator Otunba Gbenga Daniel recently held a successful two-day skills acquisition training program for women and youth in Ogun East Senatorial District. This initiative, part of his broader empowerment agenda, aimed at equipping participants with practical skills in various vocational fields.

Participants engaged in diverse training modules that included Fashion Designing, Cosmetology, ICT, and Irrigation Farming. The training not only delivered theoretical knowledge but also emphasized hands-on experience, ensuring that attendees were well-prepared to enter the job market or start their own businesses.

At the conclusion of the training, Senator Daniel personally oversaw the distribution of essential tools to participants, enabling them to put their newly acquired skills into immediate use. These tools included:

Cosmetology: Makeup kits

ICT: Laptops for digital literacy and skills enhancement

Irrigation Farming: Water pumping machines for agricultural applications
