Otunba Segun Showunmi Mourns Death of Alhaji AbdulSemiu Sobayo.

When your wife woke me up with a call with your telephone very early yesterday Thursday 30th January 2025, I picked thinking she wanted to report you to me because of a normal domestic issues between you both, I was dazed when she told me you had died. 

I kept saying did you say Sobayo is dead, how, when, was he sick, did he get into a fight, only to be told you had an active night, woke up and the rest is death. I am pained beyond words. 

I sent our people to rush to your house in hope that I will be told it’s a lie. Alas it is true gosh, oh Allah please make the grave easy for AbdulSemiu, Oh Allah forgive AbdulSemiu of his shortcomings. Oh Ya Jamiu, You who would gather mankind at the hour of judgement, do raise AbdulSamiu among those you will admit into Paradise. 

Oh Allah look after his family and our people whom he used to lead. Oh great comforter console us and help us to bear this irreparable loss of a man whose position will be difficult to fill. AbdulSamiu omo Sobayo.
