We write to express our concerns regarding the recent arrest of Hon. Ladi Adebutu, which many perceive as an act of unnecessary witch-hunting against political opponents.

It is crucial for leaders to uphold democratic principles, ensuring that all actions taken are just, fair, and in the best interest of the citizens. The ongoing political climate calls for transparency and integrity, particularly when dealing with issues that directly affect influential community leaders.

The perception that political figures are targeted solely for their affiliations undermines our democratic process and breeds distrust among constituents. It is essential to foster an environment where dialogue and constructive criticism are encouraged, rather than creating an atmosphere of fear and division.

Rather than pursuing actions seen as vindictive, We encourage you to focus on policies and initiatives that unite us as a community.
