Reconstruction of Ijaye Roundabout With Solar Light Commissioned

On October 2, 2024, the Ijaye community witnessed a significant milestone as Hon. Tolulope Oluwafikayomi Ayinla Phillips commissioned the beautification and solar lightening of Ijaye Roundabout in line with Ijaye Day celebration.

The noble project is the initiative of Ijaye Youth organization which Hon. Tolulope Phillips is a proud member. The project is being carried out by the youth and sponsored by Hon. Tolulope Phillips as part of his usual efforts in giving back to the society. It's aimed at enhancing infrastructural development and free flow of traffic.

Many community leaders and religious leaders including high Chiefs, government officials and some PDP leaders in Abeokuta South graced the event. Among them are Chief Alhaji Moshood Olaitan Osin of Ijaye land, Chief F. A. Afuape, Jagunmoluof Ijaye land, Chief T. Adesina, Abese of Ijaye land, Chief Yaya Olajide, Sagua, Chief Kamilu Abolade Dagunja, Chief lmam Dr. Musibaudeen Musa. The Chief Imam of Ijaiye, who offered prayers for the project's success and community well-being, Christian Chief who prayed for the community and Hon. Tolulope Phillips. Other attendees included the Chief Imam of Ìsàlè Abese, local government officials, other notable chiefs and stakeholders who expressed support for the project and appreciate Hon. Tolulope Phillips kind gestures. 

In his short speech, Hon. Tolulope Phillips emphasized well-planned infrastructure's role in driving economic growth and enhancing citizens' quality of life. He acknowledged opportunity giving to him by the community leaders and youths in giving back to his root and appreciate their support during planning and execution of the project. He affirms to do more. 

Hon. Tolulope Phillips went further to state that he didn't sponsor the project for the interest of campaign but aim at making life better for the people. He encouraged residents to take ownership of the project, ensuring it is well maintained.

Community members expressed gratitude to Hon. Tolupe Phillips, the Ijaye Youth organization and Community leaders towards the success of the project.

In conclusion, Akinfenwa Owolabi Haruna, the president of Ijaye Youth organization on behalf of the teeming youths went further to appreciate Hon. Tolulope Phillips and affirms their support to him.
