NNPP's LG Primary Election - Segun Oloyede Emerged Ijebu East Candidate.




 



The New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP) on Friday 30th of August 2024 conducted it's LG Elections Primaries to elect Chairmanship Candidates into the 20 Local Government Areas and Councillorship Candidates into 236 wards of Ogun State.


In a dramatic turn of event at the Venue of the LG primary Election, Mr. Oluwasegun Oloyede emerged as the New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP) Chairmanship Candidate for Ijebu East against the much publicized Wale Adedayo who was widely speculated to have secured the ticket to run for the office of IJEBU EAST Chairmanship on the platform of NNPP.


While fielding questions from journalists at Iwe Irohin House Abeokuta shortly after the LG Primary Election Exercise, Comrade Oginni Olaposi Sunday, the National Secretary of NEW NIGERIA PEOPLE'S PARTY (NNPP) made it clear that Mr. Wale Adedayo is unknown to NNPP. He is not our member. I was surprised when I heard in the News about his ambition to contest in NNPP"
