It was a wonderful moment laced with joy and shared feelings of love on Tuesday 16th July 2024 at the People's Democrat Party (PDP) Secretariat opposite NNPC mega station, Abeokuta as the uthentic Egba son and the former House Representatives Candidate under the umbrella of Labour Party, Hon. Tolulope Oluwafikayomi Philip decamp to the PDP Abeokuta local government.
In the emotion-landened valedictory session and special meeting of the PDP Abeokuta local government held at the State Party Secretariat, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta in honour of Hon. Tolulope Philip who decamp to PDP with over 5000 labour party members.
In his shot address, the Chairman of the Party in Ogun State represented by his Deputy, Chief Bamgbose applaud the move by Hon. Tolulope Philip and his Labour Party Members to join PDP Ogun State that Hon. Tolulope Philip is the right man with the right qualities who is ready to engage people in developing Abeokuta South Federal Constituency.
"As you received the Party's flag today, We are very please to welcome you to our party PDP Ogun State, I believe today's is a historical day for the people of Abeokuta South Federal Constituency and Ogun in general, although this is not the first time such will happen but Hon. Tolulope Philip move is commendable and he and his Supporters is here fully with us as the uthentic PDP Members", Said Bamgbose.
The Director General, Ladi Adebutu Campaign Organization in the last general election and also leader of the party in Abeokuta South, Alhaji Semiu Sodipo said Hon. Tolulope Philip popularly known as TP is doing a very good work for Abeokuta South when he was in Labour Party and we can attest to it with the crowd joined us, he encourage him to continue with his good deeds, as he becomes the member of the party and the Abeokuta South local government applauds of him and urge him to continue to serve the federal Constituency and Ogun in that manner.
On his own while addressing the decampy, the PDP Youth Leader in Ogun Central Senatorial District and a leader in Abeokuta South local government, Hon. Animoowo Jamiu call on Hon. Tolulope Philip and his Followers to join hands with the current party leaders in Abeokuta South local government to achieve our aims together and transparent in all their dealings the leaders will be transparent and accountable to them too.
The Leading leader of the Party in Ogun State who is also PDP Candidate in the last general election, Hon. Dr. Oladipupo Adebutu applauded the Hon. Tolulope Philip for his outstanding efforts and dedication in protecting democracy.
According to him, the PDP Abeokuta South local government and Ogun State will accommodate you and your followers in joyful way because there is enough chairs for everyone to sit, Hon. Tolulope Philip Political Movement has been a movement dealings so far that put smiles on the people of Abeokuta South Federal Constituency for what he has been hearing about him years back.

Addressing the gathering after receiving the party flag, Hon. Tolulope Philip said some people paved the way for them to reach where they are here so the new members also have responsibilities to do the same for the upcoming ones and they can only achieve that through love and unity.
He said as part of his guidelines, one of his aims is to increase the unity and love between the members and the leaders of PDP in Abeokuta South local government. There have been a lot legends here, I want to thank them because they paved way for the new members to come in and our responsibilities will also pave the way even clearer for the upcoming ones.
Hon. Philip expressed his appreciation to everyone who joined the event despite their busy schedules.
"I will like to thank everyone who left their time to come here and received my humble self and my followers into the PDP Abeokuta South local government. I want to use this opportunity to thank our leading leader of the party in Ogun State, Hon. Oladipupo Adebutu who put efforts to make this nice event happen today. I would like to say I am happy the we were received the by PDP Ogun State, it is a testament to my hard work from my followers, my family." Hon. Tolulope Philip Said.
Hon. Tolulope Oluwafikayomi Philip hails from Agbole Jenmi in Ijaye, Ward Seven (07) Mother's side also from Igbore, father's Side all in Abeokuta South local government of Ogun State.
The event brought many leaders of PDP Abeokuta South local government and Ogun State at large.
