INSTALLATION ACTIVITIES OF IDOWU ROTIMI AS BOBA-JIRORO OF SAWONJO LAND BEGINS.
Activities for the installation of the Chairman, Radio, Television, and Theatre Workers Union, RATTAWU, Ogun State Council, Comrade Idowu Rotimi Akintade popularly known as IRAK, as the Bobajiroro of Sawonjo land in Yewa North local government Area of Ogun State, will commence with a jumat service on Friday 13th October.
A statement by the organisers indicates that, the installation ceremony to be performed by Olu of Sawonjo, Oba Micheal Ayinde Oderinde, will take place on Saturday, at the Sawonjo town hall Field, beginning from 10am.
According to the statement, dignitaries from all walks of life, including, the Olu of Ilaro and Paramount Ruler of Yewa land, Oba Kehinde Olugbenle, top government functionaries, and politicians, are expected to grace the occasion.
It says the installation ceremony will be rounded off on Sunday as the new BOBAJIRO, Comrade Idowu, popularly called IRAK, will lead his family and friends to the Methodist church, Sawonjo, for a thanksgiving service.
