Chicago Based Nigerian Politician Renewed Marital Vows After Two Decades.



The Peoples Democratic Party aspirant for Ifo/Ewekoro Federal House of Representative in the 2019 election, Prince Adebayo Babawande has  renewed his marital vow to his wife on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at Kola Daisi Civil Centre in Ibadan.

Prince Adebayo Babawande who is also a Prince from Owu kingdom revealed that women should be treated with respect and honour, and this is why he has decided to renew his commitment to his wife after twenty years of their union.


Adebayo and his beloved wife Olanike met at the prestigious Premier University of Ibadan and fell in love un-controllably, which eventually resulted into their legal marriage two decades ago.


Mrs. Olanike Babawande, an active politician who was recently installed as the Yeyelua of Akola kingdom could not hide her joy as she adorned herself in her ever blazing attire.


The multi-million naira wedding ceremony came with engagement and reception at the same venue.


It was a desirable moment as the couple arrived elegantly with their radiating smiles.


As custom demand, Prince Adebayo Babawande was accompanied by some of his friends from all over the world, in his entourage is the All Progressive Stalwart from Kajola constituency  in Oyo state, Hon. Wale Ojeleye.


The event had in attendance some royal fathers and one of the Peoples Democratic Party leading figures in Nigeria, Otunba Segun Showunmi.


Olanike Babawande, while receiving his engagement ring from her husband moved in a majestic manner to show the ring to her relatives.


In attendance were their children who travelled down from Chicago to be part of the marital vows exchange.


Mr. Yinka who is popularly known as Alao Ibadan thrilled people with his never tiring dancing steps.


Among other dignitaries at the event were people from Babawande's constituency, Mrs Babawande's women group called Abiyamo etc.


The reception cake was made by Dominion Cakes Confectioneries.
