'Be Hopeful, Don't Allow incompetence of APC to Overwhelm You', PDP Reps Candidate, Toyin Amuzu Tells Nigerians

As Muslim faithfuls across the world celebrate eid-el-kabir, Nigerians have been urged to be hopeful in the Nigerian project and not allow the prevailing challenges brought upon the nation by the incompetence of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC to overwhelm them.

A community leader and House of Representatives candidate of the People's Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Toyin Amuzu gave this advice in his message to mark the muslim festival.

Chief Toyin Amuzu who is vying to represent Abeokuta South Federal Constituency at the lower Chambers of the National Assembly said this period is a moment for sober reflection and prayers, considering the precarious situation we have found ourselves in Nigeria.

He said: "these are trying times looking at the level of insecurity, economic hardship, workers strike, declining health and educational standards bedevilling the nation among other challenges. As we celebrate let us be modest and reach out to our neighbours who do not have.

According to Chief Amuzu, "we must use this period to offer prayers to Allah to lead us right in our quest to elect new leaders that will  bring about desired solutions to the myriad of challenges confronting the country."

"Nigeria needs leaders who have the will of the people at heart and the wherewithal to lead well and that is what PDP is known for. This is the reason I would implore all well-meaning Nigerians to give necessary support to our party, PDP as it is the only alternative party that can wrestle the power from the APC led administration that has brought untold hardships on the masses." Amuzu said.

He further urged the people to be guided by faith, perseverance and obedience as demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim when he was reminded by God to fulfill his promise of sacrificing his son, if he was blessed with a child.
