••••••••• Canvasses for Support at the Forthcoming APC Primary Elections
The Leading Aspirant for the Ogun Central Senatorial District, Apostle Biodun Sanyaolu (ABS) under the umbrella of the All Progressive Congress (APC) on Saturday 21st May, 2022 met with the Council Chairmen, Ward Party Leadership and Elected Councillors of Abeokuta South & North Local Government Areas.
The meeting which was held separately in their respective Local Government Areas had in attendance Local Government Executive Chairmen, elected Councillors, Ward Leaderships, Party Chieftains and well wishers from the two Local Government Areas.
In his remarks, Apostle Biodun Sanyaolu maintained that his visit was to seek their support towards the forthcoming APC Primary Election. He added that unlike other aspirants who came in the twilight of the electioneering process, he remains the only individual who has lived 42 years of his life in the constituency with his family and business concerns in the same location. He furthered that he had come to redeem and liberate the constituency from bad leadership and unimpressive representations at the Red Chambers.
In their separate remarks, the two Council Chairmen, Hon. Laja Majekodunmi of Abeokuta South and Hon. Adebayo Ayorinde of Abeokuta North Local Government affirmed that Apostle Biodun Sanyaolu indeed remains the best candidate for the position due to his rich political profile, vast, leadership antecedents, impressive manisfesto & untainted integrity.
The ABS Team met with Council Chairman, Vice and Councillors of Abeokuta South & North Local Government, Abeokuta South LG Party chairman & his exco members as well as Ward Chairmen & Secretaries of the Two Local Governments alongside Abeokuta notable Elders of the party.
Some of the elected Councillors who spoke in the course of the visitations agreed that the ABS is the long-awaited liberator of the District and being the only Senatorial Aspirant who had deemed it fit to facilitate a one-on-one meeting with them to discuss about his plans & vision. They commended him for creating time to visit them in their domains noting that accessibility is a very great virtue in Leadership. The Councillors berated the fact that most public office holders become incommunicado after getting into power, citing instances to support their claims.
The sittings, in their concluding remarks promised to support his aspirations as well as canvass other APC party delegates to vote for him at the primary election scheduled to hold on Friday 27th May, 2022.
